With reference to cypher

telegram from the Governor of ong Kong to the Secretary of State for the Colonies No. 307 dated 26th September, 1939, dealing with the discovery of an unauthorised W/T set in Kowloon.

We referred the question of the code books which were discovered to the Government Code and Cipher School.

They are very interested and would like the books; so would you please wire to the Governor to arrange for the code books and intercepted telegrams to be sent home by safe hand.
